Heartland Ministries Radio Light the Way 5K

Be the first to see the Christmas lights at Mike Miller Park!  Heartland Ministries Radio hosts the annual “Light the Way 5k” on Saturday, November 19th at Mike Miller Park in Draffenville. Participants have the option of running a competitive 5k run or a fun run/walk, both on the paved course throughout the park.  5k Participants will receive a t-shirt, and medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place age groups winners. You must register by November 7th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. The 5k and the fun run/walk will both start at 5:00 pm.  Entry fee for the 5k run is $25; the fun run/walk is $10, and benefits Heartland Ministries Radio. Pre-race packet pickup will be on Friday, November 18th from 4:00 -6:00 pm at the main pavilion. Registration is available on race day from 3:00 until 5:00 at the main pavilion.  Gates to the park close to traffic at 5:00 pm.
