The 2022 event went extremely well and we can't wait for 2023! This community trail race was cozy, fun, and may become tradition for many families the weekend before Christmas. Join in on the fun!
Nestled in rural South Central Kentucky, Homeplace on Green River is a shared project of Adair, Green & Taylor Counties. Given the name "Kentucky's Outdoor Classroom" by the Kentucky Senate in 2016, this 227 acre farm combines history, agriculture, and outdoor recreation. It's neighbor, Tebbs Bend Civil War Battlefield, includes a trailhead for the Tebbs Bend-Green River Nature Area trail system, providing additional resources for outdoor education and the perfect canvas for trail running.
Ages 8 and up are allowed to race. Runners under 12 need to have experience in running, or be accompanied by a parent for their run.
We welcome walkers on the 5K course. 10K runners will do two laps of the 5K course.

This will be the 5K and 10K course for the 2022 Homeplace Holiday Hustle. The 10K will do two laps of the course. This starts on a gravel road that then leads into single track. At roughly 1.5 miles runners hop on the Agrarian Trail before climbing to an overlook around mile 2. Runners then make their way back on another section of the Agrarian Trail to complete the loop. Each lap, via GPS, comes in at 3.2 miles.
