Description

John's Run/Walk Shop and John's Bluegrass Racing Company present, Keep Moving Forward Runs! These are virtual runs that you can participate in from wherever you are, designed to keep you moving, and keep our community moving forward. For these runs, there won’t be any shirts, there won’t be any medals, and the only way we can support you is in spirit. Instead, 100% of the proceeds from these runs will be going to local charities. Additionally, with the future looking uncertain for so many people, the cost of participating in these runs is entirely up to you. Every Keep Moving Forward Run is a pay what you can run, no questions asked, because financial support just isn’t within everyone’s reach right now. Instead, your support might just be sharing your run on social media, or encouraging others to participate, and that support is just as important as financial support right now. Our biggest hope for this initiative is that we can all continue feeling the community solidarity we’re famous for. As Andy says, we’re all in this together!

This run on April 29th benefits Woodford Humane Society. Woodford Humane Society is a 501c3 nonprofit animal adoption center located in Versailles, Kentucky. They provide housing and care to homeless and unwanted pets, and have welcomed thousands of animals since 1975. They strive to find good, loving, permanent homes for all of them. Consider donating to them via the donation page as your entrance fee!

Please remember to follow all current social distancing recommendations, and only participate in this event by yourself, or with members of your household.
