Description
Come "Bark in the Park" and enjoy a stroll with your best friend! The Doggie Dash 5K is a dog-friendly 5K run/walk held in London, KY at the historic Levi Jackson State Park. Participants are NOT required to bring a canine companion. Awards will be given to the top Male and Female finishers running with a dog in each DOG SIZE DIVISION, and the top Male and Female runners without a dog. Proceeds from the event benefit the FRIENDS OF LAUREL COUNTY ANIMAL SHELTER and the TRI COUNTY SPORTS AUTHORITY.
Each person who registers will:
1) fund SHOTS and DE-WORMING treatment for TWO animals in the Laurel County Animal Shelter and assist with veterinary fees.
2) Donate $5 to the Tri-County Sports Authority to fund travel tournament fees, helping local student-athletes earn college scholarships!
