Atria Blessings in a Backpack 0.5K "Race"

This 0.5K (~547 yards) “minithon” has all the elements of a typical race but without any of the hard training. A fun, tongue-in-cheek event lampooning a typical 5K, this “race for the rest of us” provides an opportunity to fundraise for the Blessings in a Backpack organization. Racers will receive a race bib, medal, and 0.5K sticker decal. This event adds to the spirit of Mother’s Day weekend as it is helping moms keep food on the table for their children in need. We all know that moms deserve a break from their endless, selfless job and this event will help alleviate worry for mothers who are wondering “how they will feed their kids this weekend.”
