Join us for the 4th Annual Derby Day Dash For Dolls 5K & 10K on Saturday, May 4th at 8:30am in historic Midway, Kentucky!

Our race is held in honor of the late Karen Wilson from Midway who always worked to provide dolls for girls at the holidays.  She felt that every little girl deserves a doll, especially those in challenging situations.  Ambrose Wilson wants to continue this legacy and honor his late wife through this fundraising run/walk.  The 501(c)3 that Ambrose established has helped deliver over 2,000 toys to children over the past 4 years.

Carrying on the Legacy of Karen Wilson --- A Doll For Every Girl

Karen Wilson had two passions in her life.  One passion was running in 5K races.  Karen ran in a 5K race in each of Kentucky's 120  counties.  She just loved to be outside and run.  Her other passion was to provide dolls to girls, especially those who came from challenging life situations.  She would collect and purchase dolls and donate them to these girls.

This race is being orchestrated by Ambrose Wilson to honor his wife Karen and her legacy of good will.  We'll be collecting dolls at the race and purchasing dolls with race proceeds and donations to donate in her memory.
