Directions to the Chrysalis Community Center from Downtown Lexington:
· Travel Versailles Road towards Airport
· Turn left on Heartsbrook Lane (past Red Mile Road)
· Turn left at stop sign (Hill Rise Drive)
· Turn left into Chrysalis Community Center parking lot
Directions to the Chrysalis Community Center from New Circle Road:
· Travel towards downtown Lexington
· Turn right on Heartsbrook Lane (past Cardinal Hill Hospital)
· Turn left at stop sign (Hill Rise Drive)
· Turn left into Chrysalis Community Center parking lot
You are permitted to pick up packets for friends and family members (no paperwork necessary)
***We will have Packet Pick-up on Race Day (Saturday) but we encourage you to pick your packet up early to avoid long lines. There will be race day registration from 8:10 a.m. - 8:45 a.m.
About Chrysalis House
Our Mission is to provide family-oriented treatment and recovery support for women with substance use disorders.
Specializing in the treatment of pregnant and parenting adult women, Chrysalis House was the first residential treatment program in Kentucky in which women could keep their infants and toddlers with them while in treatment. Using effective trauma-specific care Chrysalis House implements a holistic, state-of-the art clinical and service delivery approach that is gender-specific and culturally appropriate. Our family-based treatment approach is comprehensive, and addresses the biological, psychological, and social aspects of women and their families by incorporating a variety of effective and evidence-based practices.
Our family-centered treatment approach focuses primarily on the individual woman but address family relationships as an integral part of the treatment process. Although services focus on the woman's treatment and recovery, our services are delivered in a manner that recognizes the importance of families and relationships. A multi-disciplinary team including, a medical doctor specializing in addiction, licensed and certified therapists, a psychiatrist, registered nurses, case managers, peer support specialists, job readiness and educational services staff, and community ancillary service providers work with each woman and her family to develop a comprehensive treatment plan. Individualized treatment plans are designed to assist women gain the skills to achieve goals related to physical and mental health, overcoming past trauma, parenting, interpersonal relationships, education and employment, safe and affordable housing, and other areas unique to women.
