Description
On November 14, a contagion will emerge in a 5K area of downtown Prestonsburg, in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains. The fearless will meet infected 'zombies' as they make their way through this apocalyptic scene.
We need fast runners and walkers to scout the area, but beware, the infection spreads and no one is safe!

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE 5K
5k run or walk course. Run from zombies trying to steal your flags as you complete the course. If you finish the race with at least 1 flag left, you will be a “Survivor”. If the zombies steal all 3 of your flags, you are “Infected”.

Date: Saturday, November 14, 2015
Course Location: Downtown Prestonsburg
Registration Booth: City Stage (across from City Hall at 200 N Lake Drive)
Time: Registration at 5:00 PM, Race begins at 6:00 PM
Regisration Fee: $25 - Groups of 8 people or more: $20 per person.
Registration will close Nov. 11.
Medals will be given to each participant. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners for men’s and women’s categories will be given.
ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE KENTUCKY EMPLOYEES CHARITABLE CAMPAIGN.
