Warrior Run Canceled
Thank you so much for supporting the NWLA veterans. It is with great sadness that I announce we are canceling the Warrior Run portion of our 19th Annual Bike and Car Show. Each participant will be converted to a sleep in supporter so you will receive your t-shirt. You may pick up your shirt at the Bike and Car show on November 4 or it will be mailed to you after the event. With only 14 participants and the overall cost of the race, we would lose valuable resources that our veterans depend on. We pride ourselves on being good stewards with the money in which we are entrusted. We appreciate your understanding and hope to see you on November 4 at the 19th Annual Bike and Car Show.

Description
100% of the proceeds of this event will help and honor our Military Veterans. In addition to helping the homeless program at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center (MC),we have partnered with DAV to purchase several vans to provide transportation to & from the MC, a building at the NW LA Veterans Cemetery to hold the seasonal wreaths for the graves, TV's for the activity room at the NW LA War Veterans Home, handheld computers for PTSD patients, welcome kits for patients admitted to the VA MC, a portion of the renovated waiting room for the Cancer Wing & the Surgery Wing at the VA MC, washer and dryer for use by homeless veterans, handicap accessories inside of homes, ramps for wheelchairs and other items to increase the quality of life for our veterans
