Legends Run 5K

Kick off The Louisiana Legends Fest with our Fun Run and 5K sponsored by Highland Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. 

Starting time: Fun Run will begin at 8am Saturday, October 22, 2022. Legends Run 5K will begin at 8:30am Saturday, October 22, 2022.

Race Course: The course will begin at the First United Methodist Church of Homer Parking Lot located at 501 West 3rd Street and end at the Homer Post Office. Participants will run/walk by Homer High School, Elementary School and surrounding neighborhood. They will also pass by the childhood home of our 2022 Legend, Dr. James Andrews.

Registration: Early Registration is $25 until October 7th.  All participants who register by October 7th will receive a short sleeve official Legends Run T-shirt. Late registration is $30 October 8th through Race Day. You may pay with a credit card on the run sign up website. McDuffie timing system is included in registration fee.
 
Packet Pickup: Friday, October 21, 8am-3pm, at Claiborne Academy front office located at 6741 Highway 79 and Race Day 7am-8am before race.
 
Age Group Awards: A male and female in each of the following age groups will receive awards: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+. There will be an overall 1st place male and female award.
 
Post Race: Following the race we will have snacks and drinks provided by Highland Clinic Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. We will also announce awards, so stick around
