Due to the COVID-19 increase in our area that we are facing at this time, we have decided to transition the Triathlon into a Virtual Duathlon. Everyone that has already registered will be automatically transferred to the Virtual race.
We take the safety and wellness of each and every participant very seriously. We hope everyone understands this decision at this time.
Registration will close August 13th at midnight
Results must be sent by midnight on August 16th. Results will be posted on Monday, August 17th.
Rules: So How Does A Virtual Duathlon Work
1. You must be registered to participate. If you are already registered, please invite your family and friends to participate with you. Register here. https://runsignup.com/Race/LA/Lafayette/MPCSTriathlon
2. The events need to be consecutive and in order and can be on a course of your choice. The distance must be accurate and measured by your garmin or fitbit watch or phone apps such as MapMyRun, Runkeeper etc. Take a screenshot or picture of each distance and time. Anything shorter than race distance will not count in race standings. Anything longer will count against your total time.
3. Transition times DO NOT count. We encourage finding a course where it is safe to move right to the next event.
4. After your done, submit your results (time and distance for each segment) to our timer, Bertha Lanthier with Cajun timing at email@example.com by midnight on August 16th as she will be compiling the results; include your name, gender, age, total time and proof of time in each distance.
Thank you for your understanding and support in these circumstances!

We are here to provide emotional support, guidance, resources, programs, and most of all, hope. Our services are comprehensive and always provided at no charge. No appointment is necessary and there are no financial qualifications. We are located in Lafayette, LA and our mobile unit extends services to outlying communities throughout Southwest Louisiana.
Since 2002, Miles Perret Cancer Services has served over 17,000 local families. However, the reality of our success is not in numbers but in lives changed. By taking control of their individual paths to wellness, our clients are empowered to think of themselves not as cancer patients, but as survivors.
