The staging area will be at Opelousas General Hospital-South Campus (the old Doctor's Hospital facility) located at 3983 I-49 South Service Road - just south of Harry Guilbeau Road at Exit 15 off of I-49 on the south side of Opelousas.

Thank you for your ongoing support and may God bless!

The 1st Run
The first 2 mile run is an "out and back" which will leave the OGH-South Campus, run south along the service road then turn right onto Flagstation Road. Athletes continue to the turn around at the water station and return to the transition area.
The Bike
The 16-mile bike route will leave the OGH-South Campus; go north along the service road; turn right onto Harry Guilbeau Rd. and go beneath I-49; then turn right on the service road and head south. The bike course will take you along the upper portion of Coteau Ridge which was part of the western bank of the mighty Mississippi River hundreds of years ago and then along the western edge of Historic Grand Coteau, home of the Academy of Sacred Heart, St. Charles Borromeo College and other historic sites. Once past Grand Coteau, cyclists continue on the service road to the turnaround point and will then follow the same route back to the transition area.
