Lincoln Parish Park along with Piney Hills Tri Club will host Ruston's 7th Annual Piney Hills Kids Triathlon.

Race Distances: 

Pine Cones - Ages 7-8 & 9-10         100 yd swim, 2.5 Mile Bike, .75 Mile Run  *(Course Distance Subject to Change)

Pine Trees - Ages 11-12, 13-14 & 15-17      200 yd swim, 5 Mile Bike, 1.2 Mile Run  *(Course Distance Subject to Change)

The child's age is calculated by USAT rule as to how old they will be on 12/31/23. This will determine which age group they will participate in.

The swim will take place in the open water lake in the designated swim areas.  Most athletes will be able to touch bottom but we discourage using it to advance the swimmer. It will be a timed trial entry into the water which means that each swimmer will enter the water every 10 seconds by bib number order.

The bike will be hilly, so plan on that.

The beautiful run will be flat and fast around the lake.

Come test your fitness and enjoy a kids only race!

Pine Cones - Ages 7-8 & 9-10 -

May 16th - June 23rd -  $40.00

Pine Trees - Ages 11-12, 13-14 & 15-17 -   

Now till May 15th -   $35.00

May 16th - June 23rd -  $40.00

Saturday, June 24th (Race Day) from 6:00 - 7:00 am

Awards:

1st Overall Male & Female in the Pine Cone and Pine Tree categories

1st, 2nd, 3rd Male & Female in each age category

Beneficiary of the Race:

This year proceeds of the race will go to fund the efforts of MedCamps of Louisiana. Come out and support their mission of improving the health and wellness of people living with chronic illness and disabilities through unique recreational and educational camping experiences!!

This race is being sanctioned with USAT. You must be a licensed USA Triathlon member at the time of registration or buy a yearly membership for $10 for minors during registration.
