Description
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club will be having their 10th annual “Hot Pursuit” 5k on July 26th, 2014. We will be offering good eats, good drinks, and good music for a GREAT cause. Enhanced Sounds will provide music at this year’s run, and local cheerleading groups will provide the extra pep needed in your step. We need volunteers to make it a great race. This event exclusively benefits The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club of Shreveport so that it may continue to provide the best after-school care, mentoring, and effective programming for our area’s youth.

1/2 Mile Fun Run Starts at 7:30 a.m.
5k Starts at 8:00 a.m.
Registration is $20 through July 18th, thereafter and race day it is $25.00
Packet pick up: The First 150 pre-registered participants will be guaranteed an Official 2014 Hot Pursuit T-shirt. So register early!!
Packet pick up will be at Sportspectrum starting on Thursday, July 24th from noon-7:00 p.m., Friday, July 25th from 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and race day starting at 7:00 a.m at the race site.
Course: This year's race will start and finish at the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club, 2821 Greenwood Road. Runners will make a loop through the Louisiana State Fair grounds, then back to the Boys and Girls Club.
Awards: The Top 3 male and female overall winners will receive trophies. Age group awards will also be given to overall and runners-up in each division.
Age Groups: 17-under, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+ (both male and female)
