Q: When is early check-in taking place?
A: Early check-in will take place on Friday, September 13, 2024. Additional details to come.
Q: Can I send someone in my place to check-in for me?
A: Yes, a family member or friend can check-in for you with valid photo identification.
Q: If I can’t attend early check-in, can I do so the morning of the race?
A: Yes, check in opens at 6:30am on race day in the Vendor Village.
Q: How early should I get to the race?
A: To be safe, plan on getting to the race 60-90 minutes before it starts. That will give you plenty of time to find parking and pick up your race packet. To save time on race day, we recommend picking up your packet in advance at Toyota Sports Performance Center.
Q: Are you accepting walk-up registrations?
A: Pending registration availability, we will be accepting walk-up registrations.
Q: Where are the restrooms located?
A: Restrooms are located on S Elena Ave. at S. Catalina Ave.
Q: Is there a place to leave my belongings during the race?
A: There is no place to leave your things during the race, we recommend leaving whatever you will not want during the race in your car.
Q: If I get injured before the race can I get a refund?
A: We do not issue refunds; however, any race registration can be transferred to another person.
Q: How do I get my commemorative race t-shirt, finishers medal included with my registration?
A: Race t-shirts will be available during early check-in and/or event day check in. Medals will be distributed to participants at the finish line.
Q: How do I redeem my two complimentary* tickets to an LA Kings 2023-24 game?
A: Each registrant will receive a code for two (2) complimentary* tickets to one select LA Kings 2024-25 Regular Season Home Game between October - December. Within 5-7 business days after the race, more information and available games will be sent to your registration email from update@vip.lakings.com. Please note, complimentary LA Kings tickets are ONLY included with in-person registrations. Virtual registrations do NOT include complimentary LA Kings tickets.

Q: What is included in the LA Kings Virtual 5K registration?
A: Entry fees for the virtual race include an LA Kings 5K t-shirt and a finishers medal. Virtual entries do NOT include LA Kings tickets or a race bib.
Q: Is there a minimum age requirement? Do infants need to be registered and paid for?
A: There is no age requirement, however, individuals of all ages must be registered to receive a race bib.
Q: Can I ride a bike or rollerblades?
A: Yes, however, only runners are eligible for awards. Please exercise caution while on a bike or rollerblades at the LA Kings 5K.
Q: Are dogs allowed? Are strollers allowed?
A: Yes, both are welcome on the race course! Please note, dogs must be on leash.
Q: What time does the race start/end?
A: The 5K race will begin at 8:00am. The vendor village will remain open after the race begins.
Q: Where can I obtain race results and pictures?
A: Following the race, results and photos will be posted at lakings.com/5k.
Q: Will prizes be awarded to the top finishers?
A: The top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive a prize inclusive of LA Kings merchandise and tickets. The top 3 finishers in each age group for male and females will receive a 5K Top Finisher Puck “trophy”.
Q: Will the race occur regardless of weather?
A: Yes, the LA Kings 5K will be on rain or shine.
