Description
We have once again partnered with the Glen Urquhart School to co-host our annual Wicked Kidz ½ Mile and 1 Mile race for children from pre-K to grade 8.
The event is a FREE, professional-style race event with race bibs and awards, just for the kids! We had SO much fun last year, and can’t wait to do it again!
Event Information
Our 1/2-mile course meanders through the GUS nature trail and around the camps. We will have plenty of volunteers along the route helping to direct kids.
- Parking is available in our front lot, located off of 74 Hart Street or our back lot off of Greenwood Ave.
- 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. Bib pick-up for advance registration.
- Onsite registration will CLOSE at 12:30 p.m.
- We will begin with the 1/2-Mile race at 1:15 p.m., followed by the 1-mile race.
- We will close the afternoon with an awards ceremony for the top three runners in each race.
There will be a 1/2-mile course option for our younger runners (Pre-K through Grade 2), and a 1-mile course for runners of any age!
Register by 10/17 to guarantee a shirt!
Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:
- Pre-K - Kindergarten
- Grades 1-2
- Grades 3-5 (1-mile course only)
- Grades 6-8 (1-mile course only)
