The Family Fun Run & Walk celebrates strong families and takes attendees through groomed trails and fields through Quincy’s beautiful Merrymount Park. All ages are welcome to run, walk, or join us virtually. The Run and Walk strengthens the Asian and immigrant community and raises funds to support our vital programs. Proceeds raised from this run will go to support youth leadership programs, adult English classes, and mental health support services for Asian and immigrant families.

FAQ
Is the race timed? How do I record my results?
Times will be announced to runners as they cross the finish line and can be self-recorded. Please note: we will not have timed chips or an official race timing system.
Do I have to be a runner to join?
We welcome all levels. Running and walking are both welcome.
Will I get a race t-shirt?
Race t-shirts will be available to those who register by Friday, September 12th for the in-person run.
When can I pick up my race bib?
Race-day bib pick-up on Saturday, October 25th will be between 7:45 am and 8:45 am, so please plan accordingly.
What kind of terrain will we be running and walking on?
This family friendly course is 5k of groomed trails and fields through Quincy’s beautiful Merrymount Park. Start and Finish will be by The Pavilion.
What is the route for the race?
The run will start and end at the Pavilion, located across from the main parking lot. Orange cones, signs, and course marshals will be stationed along the course to help guide participants. Map TBA.
Rain Plan
The run will continue rain or shine. In the event of thunder and lightning, the race will pause and all participants must return to their cars or under nearby shelter. The race will resume after conditions are deemed safe.
Parking
There is free parking available at Merrymount Park by the Ruth Gordon Amphitheater.
