Description
Calling all kids from tots to 6th graders and their parents to come out for a super fun day at the Sharon High School Track with the MOMS Club of Sharon MA and the Sharon Run Crew! We are looking forward to a great day with your toddlers, Pre-K, Kindergartners, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders.
All registration fees support the MOMS Club of Sharon which provides support for local parents in the community.
The Little Eagles Fun Run consists of three amazing and fun events, the Awesome Tot & PreK Dash (100 meter dash across the football field); the Splendidly Super 800 Meter Run (twice around the track); and the Magnificently Marvelous 1600 Meter Run (four times around the track).
BONUS: After the timed events, we will have "open track" time with our experienced runner volunteers who will facilitate additional running challenges and set up ad hoc racing for those kids that are interested!
There will be many other fun activities for kids of all ages including face painting, balloons, and an arts and crafts table.
Each participant will receive water, a snack, and a medal. There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in each race. The focus of the Little Eagles Fun Run is on FUN and hooking you and your kids on the JOY of running!
For families with two or more kids, there will be a $3 family discount per event registration offered during the sign up process. If you cannot afford the registration fee, there are a limited number of scholarships available. Please email us at littleeaglesfunrun@gmail.com.
Free parking will be available at the Sharon High School parking lot.
