Sudbury Road Race

The Sudbury Road Race includes a 5K race and a 1-mile fun run (all ages welcome). Both races start and finish at the Ephraim Curtis Middle School (22 Pratts Mill Road, Sudbury, MA 01776). Check-in and bib pick-up begins at 9:00am. The fun run starts at 10:00am and then the 5K at 10:30am.

This event is a fundraiser for the Sudbury Historical Society (SHS) and its Sudbury History Center and Museum. The SHS completed its ambitious project of opening a museum in Sudbury in July of 2021. The creation of the Sudbury History Center and Museum in the town-owned Loring Parsonage—dating from the early eighteenth-century—in Town Center has been a huge feat. The project revitalized an historic town asset, allowed the SHS to preserve and exhibit its important collections, accommodated our growing membership and volunteer base, facilitated scholarly and genealogical research, and provided a fully accessible historical resource for all residents and tourists.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, the SHS relies on an active membership and generous donors to continue to do great things in Sudbury such as preserving the history of Sudbury, displaying exhibits within our museum, and hosting fun community events such as this Road Race. Prizes

All runners will receive a complimentary "I Ran the Sudbury Road Race" sticker.

Top-three finishers in each race will receive recognition and medals at a ceremony following the conclusion of the 5K race. There will be a top-three for both men and women for the 5K.
