Join me in my Dopey Challenge training and support a great cause!! Proceed to go directly to the SGT Shane Duffy Memorial Foundation.
In 2008 my brother Sgt. Shane P. Duffy was killed in Iraq, leaving behind a wife and A 9-month-old daughter. With the help and dedication of friends and family, we have run the foundation for ten years now, giving over $50,000 out in scholarships, GS Disney vacation give back, and sponsoring families for the holidays.
Why Disney
Growing up, we loved watching Disney movies; in those moments, you create memories that live on for a lifetime. When you become an adult, you want to share those memories with your children. Shane was a huge fan of Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and so many other Disney movies, but these specific trilogies have lived on through generations and have allowed us to share special moments with our kids. My goal for this Dopey Challenge is to raise enough funds to send another Gold Star Sibling and their family to Disney World to share moments with their families that they once had with their brother/sister.
