Description
The second annual College Park Mothers Day 5K will be run on a fast, very modestly sloped course through the quiet, friendly streets of North College Park, starting and ending at the Hollywood Shopping Center. Runners will go past the Beltway sound wall, parallel the Metro Green Line, push past woods, stride through Duvall Field, and challenge the gently rolling service road on the way to the finish line. The men's record for this course is 18:03; the women's record is 19:20.
The race will begin at 7:30 am. Parking at the shopping center will be available until 7:00 am; race-day registration will close at 7:15 am.
