THE RACE

The Columbia Duathlon is an early-season multisport race that is known for being flat and fast, featuring just one notable hill, which makes it an excellent choice for both beginners trying their first duathlon and seasoned racers looking to shake off winter and test their legs. With youth distances offered as well, the event consistently fills early—making it one of Maryland’s most popular spring multisport races. This is a USA Triathlon sanctioned race.

 

Disclosure: Registration transfers are not permitted to other RIVAL race events. Race organizers reserve the right to close registration due to capacity limits. Race organizers reserve the right to delay or cancel event due to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances. Pets, baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, bicycles, and any other non-official wheeled vehicles are prohibited.

​AGE REQUIREMENT

Adult Race - Participants must be at least 14 years old to participate.

Youth Race - Participants must be 7-15 yrs old to participate.

All participants will compete based on their age as of December 31, 2026.
