THE RACE 
Join fellow turkey lovers, runners, walkers and friends for an appetite-inducing morning of good-natured competition. Starting and finishing at The Mall in Columbia, runners will complete at 5K distance and earn a logo shirt and finisher medal.  This race is appropriate for all level runners and walkers.
 
RACE LOCATION 
The Mall in Columbia
10300 Little Patuxent Pkwy, Columbia, MD 20144. 

The start and finish line is on the mall road in front of Maggianos Little Italy and Seasons 52 restaurants. 
 
AGE REQUIREMENT 
Runners must be at least 7 years old to participate in this race.
 
Pets, baby joggers/strollers, in-line skates, bicycles, and any other non-official wheeled vehicles are prohibited.
 
REGISTRATION 
 
Processing fees added to registration fee.
*If race sells out online, there will be no race day registration. 
 
Race Swag
Registration fee includes a long-sleeve t-shirt and finisher medal. Register by Sept 8 to be guaranteed a shirt.

GRASSROOTS CRISIS INTERVENTION
Grassroots provides 24/7 access to individuals and famlies for behavioral health, crisis, and homeless services. Grassroots operates a 33-bed emergency family shelter, a 18-bed men’s shelter, a Cold Weather Shelter program, and operates the counrty’s Code Blue Shelter during cold weather emergencies.

Please consider supporting the Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center. You can help by bringing one of the following items to the Turkey Trot 5K race. These items will be delivered directly to the Day Resource Center in Jessup, MD.

Men's and Women's underwear, new in package, all sizes, any style
Socks-mid-calf tube socks
Canned meats: Tuna, chicken, Spam, Vienna Sausage, salmon, sardines, roast beef, corned beef Canned Meals: Chef Boyardee, beef stew, corned beef hash, chili, Spaghettios
Canned Fruit-any variety
Fruit cups or applesauce cups
Juice Boxes or juice pouches-any flavor
Retired running shoes
