Description

We are excited to host you for the Stop Drop and Run 10k/5k event, being held tomorrow morning from the Easton Volunteer Fire Department. Just some last minute details.

Packet pickup will start at 9:00 am tomorrow (Saturday) morning, at the Fire Department. You will be able to park at the Fire Department, prior to the race. Should you decide to leave prior to the completion of the race, please be aware that you will have runners coming in towards you, and give them the right of way please.

The 10k event will start, under the arch at 10am. The 5k event will start, under the arch at 1030am. This will give us time to get our thank you's, National Anthem, etc, done and get started on time. The 1 mile walk will start with the 5k event and will deviate when you get over to the Board of Education building.

The 5k course will go on the Rails to Trails, turn around at the aide station, and then veer on to the large circle, going around a park. Each turn will have a large, orange cone with an arrow on the top.
When you have reconnected back with the paved Rails to Trails, you will continue down to Chapel Road. Make a left on Chapel and when you connect with Washington, just turn left and follow the roadway all the way back to Creamery Lane and the Fire Department. Your starting point is your stopping point.

The 10K COURSE is the same, except you will run PAST the first aide station and follow the trail to the very end. You will run over Goldsborough Rd, Dover Rd, Brookletts, Idewild AND Dutchmans lane, before turning around at the end before Watkins Lane.

Your ONE MILE COURSE will cross the Roadway with the 5k runners, but you will keep straight on Magnolia Street, and not turn on to the trail. When you get to Washington Street, the walker will turn left on Washington, up to Creamery Lane, and in to the Fire Department.

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning at the EVFD Stop Drop and Run 5k. Remember, the 10k starts at 10:00am and the 5k run starts at 10:30am!
