Get ready to lace up your sneakers and slather on the body glide for the First Semi-Annual Facilitated By Stadium-Armory CG Lager Jogger Jaunt 5K Trot! The jaunt will be held on Friday, May 17, at 6pm at the Streetcar 82 Brewery in Hyattsville, MD along scenic Rhode Island Avenue. Participants are encouraged to get to the starting line early so that we can leave at 6pm sharp. But keep in mind this isn't just a race -- it's a celebration of the three c's (Community, Camaraderie, and Craft beer) that's more about smiles than split times.

The race organizers are still organizing on the specifics of the meandering route, but plan on pounding along the Northwest Branch Trail. Family, loved ones, and friends who do not deign to run may join us at the fabulous post-run celebration to be held at the Streetcar 82 Brewery. Adults will be able to drink craft beverages, and children may enjoy other refreshments. Festivities should begin between 6:35pm and 6:45pm.

So come for the run and stay for the fun!

Course Description: TBD, but we will try to keep the 5k as much as possible to paved trails like the Northwest Branch Trail. Also may not be fully 5 kilometers...

Timing and Scoring: Participants are responsible for keeping track of their own race times.

Awards: If you think you deserve an award, buy yourself a beer.
