Description
This October, lace up your tennis shoes and hit the sidewalk, trail, or treadmill near you! Join For 3 Sisters for our 4th Annual Pink Ribbon Romp Virtual 5K Run/Walk and help us in the effort to ensure that no one fights breast cancer alone.
Throughout the entire month of October (1-31), 2024, complete your 5K (3.1 miles) wherever and however you like! You can run or walk with family and friends or go at it alone. Want to have a ton of fun? Create a team! Your team can be made up of people near you or across the country. It'll be a blast!
REGISTRATION INFO
Registration is $35 per person and is non-refundable and non-transferable. Your $35 makes a tremendous impact on the life of someone with breast cancer, so please feel great knowing that you're helping someone, even if you can't participate.
Your registration includes a custom virtual race bib (you can print it at home and wear it or pose with it for pics), a completion certificate, and race swag! This year's swag is a fabulous Pink Ribbon Romp race t-shirt (while supplies last)!
Update: 10/23/24 We've sold out of shirts! If you register between 10/23 and 10/31, you will not receive a 2024 Pink Ribbon Romp T-shirt. IF you would like a shirt from a previous year (2022 or 2023), message Shannon@f3s.org
RACE PACKET INFORMATION
Local Participants (Maryland Only) who have registered can choose to pick up their packets* on the dates listed below or you can select the mail option. If you cannot pick up your packet locally, you must choose the option to mail your packet during the registration process. Event packets will be mailed several times per week.

Out-of-town Participants must choose to have their race packets mailed during the registration process. The shipping fee is an additional $6 per packet. Event packets will be mailed several times per week.
Note: You may also select the "I don't want swag" option. If you choose this option, your swag will be donated back to the event, allowing us to register an additional participant and raise additional funds to support our mission.
DO I TRACK & SUBMIT MY TIME IN A VIRTUAL 5K?
Submitting your time makes the experience feel more official, but it is optional. All submitted times will be posted on the results page and are searchable. Simply choose your favorite run/walk tracking app to easily and accurately track your distance and time.
To submit your time, go to "Results" in the main menu at the top of the website, click "Submit Virtual Result," and follow the prompts.
IS FUNDRAISING REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE?
Fundraising is not required to participate, but it sure does go a long way in helping to alleviate burdens for people with breast cancer and getting out into our communities! We've made it super easy! You can create your own fundraising page which includes email templates and other resources to help you succeed.
We also have Facebook fundraisers enabled, so you can start a FB fundraiser and it'll apply to your fundraising goal.
WHO IS FOR 3 SISTERS?
For 3 Sisters is a national grassroots 501(c)3 charity dedicated to raising awareness and improving the lives of people affected by breast cancer. It was founded by retired firefighter, Marshall Moneymaker and his wife Shannon after he lost three older sisters to breast cancer. For 3 Sisters is committed to supporting breast cancer fighters and survivors in any way possible, so no man or woman fights breast cancer alone.
For 3 Sisters provides financial support and alleviates burdens for people affected by breast cancer, and educates the healthy community about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
Marshall’s story and the work of For 3 Sisters has been featured on Good Morning America, The Today Show, the Washington DC affiliates of FOX, ABC, CBS, NBC, The Washington Post, and CNN.
