Description
At just 16 years old, McKenzie Miller, a talented dancer full of life and energy, experienced a rare spinal stroke that changed everything. She lost significant mobility on one side of her body and faced the unimaginable challenge of having to learn how to walk again.
But McKenzie’s story is not one of defeat, it is one of courage, resilience, and triumph.
Now in its 3rd year, the McKenzie Strong 5K Walk & Run was created to celebrate her incredible journey of overcoming adversity while giving hope to families facing similar battles. What began as a heartfelt mission has already made a real impact. Last year, our goal was to raise $2,500, but thanks to the power of community, we proudly surpassed that goal and donated $5,000 to the American Stroke Association.
This year, we’re aiming even higher. Our 2026 goal is to raise $10,000 to support families affected by stroke and help provide resources, encouragement, and hope when it’s needed most.
Join us for the McKenzie Strong 5K Walk & Run and be part of something bigger than a race. Every step taken is a step toward healing, strength, and changing lives. Together, we are stronger. #McKenzieStrong
