Lower Potomac River Half-Marathon

After fifteen years, the Lower Potomac River Marathon has changed to a half-marathon.  All the amenities of the former marathon, but half the distance to run: 13.1 miles on a flat course (the first half of the former Lower Potomac River Marathon) over beachfront roads and past woods and marshes, with a short section on a two-lane rural highway.  Cash prizes to top three overall winners ($250, $150, and $100), and age group awards in 10-year divisions.  Post-race brunch buffet in waterfront dining room.  Showers available. Limited to 150 runners.  Time limit 2 hours and 30 minutes.  Headphones strictly prohibited. Early start for women 60+ and men 65+ at 0715. Open start 0730.
