Chase The Chicken Cancelled
Unfortunately, do to a lack of interest and volunteers, the 2021 Chase The Chicken 5k has been cancelled. All registered participants will receive a FULL refund, including their processing fee, over the next few days. We apologize for the inconvenience but the event would have not been able to make any type of contribution to our beneficiaries, which is the primary goal of the event.
We hope to bring the event back for 2022 and hope that you will join us then.

Description
Come on our and enjoy the weekend ath the Wicomico County Fair August 21st and 22nd. We will host our annual run on Sunday, August 22nd, with a portion of the proceeds going to Wicomico County Parks and Recreation.
This year we are happy to move up our run/walk to the 5k (3.1 miles) distance. The course will take you around Winterplace Park and in to the beautiful trail system that surrounds the East side of the grounds.
Come out and support your local County Fair, and stick around afterwards and take part in all the fun!!!
Your $25 registration ($15 for 12 and Under) gets you a race t-shirt and age group winners will receive awards!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
8:00 am - Packet Pickup Starts at the Baseball Field Pavilion
8:50 am - National Anthem
9:00 am - 5k Run/Walk begins
10:00 am (or when last runner is done) - Awards Ceremony
