Description
Due to low registrations, this year's Pedaling for Water is being canceled.
The inaugural Pedaling for Water hosted by Heritage Community Church in Severn, MD is a 10 mile virtual cycling event between October 16th and 23rd with a goal of raising $7000 to dig a well in a remote village in Nicaragua through Project Agua . Participants may pedal on the 10 mile course of their choosing - on road or off road - even on a stationary bike.
Why is Pedaling for Water so important? Easy access to safe, clean water is a game changer for people living in remote areas in the world. The mission of Project Agua is to partner with villages in Nicaragua to dig clean water wells which improves the overall community health and prosperity - something that is almost impossible without safe drinking water. Each registration includes: $25 for Project Agua, a Pedaling for Water T-shirt, and postage.
