VIRTUAL and LIVE - South Portland Food Cupboard - St. Max 5K Run/Walk Road Race

This year the 13th Annual South Portland Food Cupboard and St. Maximilian Kolbe 5K Road Race and Free Kids Fun Run will be a Virtual and LIVE event!  New for this year: the race will be on a Saturday morning, August 26th 2023.  Over the years, this race has raised thousands of dollars for the Food Cupboard which feeds hundreds of families in South Portland and Scarborough.  Last year, the race raised over $4000 for the Food Cupboard which provided 160 families with food for a whole month.  Our goal is to raise the same amount or more to help the Food Cupboard.  THE FOOD CUPBOARD NEEDS YOU TO SIGN-UP AND RUN THE RACE!!!  All entry fees will go directly to the Food Cupboard.  This is a wonderful cause to support and have fun running with us on Saturday August 26, 2023 or Virtually on the day you choose and at your own pace.

The Live race will occur on Saturday August 26, 2023 at St. Max Church (150 Black Point Road in Scarborough Maine).  The kids fun-run will start at 8:30am and the 5K Run/Walk will start at 9am.  The Virtual race will go from the day you register until Tuesday September 26th.  Online race registration will start on June 22nd and race day registration will start at 7:30am on August 26th.  The Virtual race registration will be open until September 26th.  Prizes will be given to the 1st and 2nd male and female finishers on August 26th after the race.  Medals will be awarded to male and female age group winners.

• Registration (on-line) for the Virtual or Live race is $20. 
• Registration for the Virtual and Live race starts June 21st. On-line registration for the Virtual race closes on September 26th. 
• Day-of registration at the Live race on August 26th starts at 7:30am and is $25.
• Race T-shirt is only $10 extra.  Last day to purchase a race shirt is August 12th.  The race shirt will be very similar to last years shirt and will feature sponsor logos!
• If your company would like to be a sponsor, please contact Tige Cunningham (tigecunningham@gmail.com).  Your logo could be on the shirt for as little as $50.
