Description
We're excited to announce the inaugural Brew & Views 5K, taking place along the beautiful waterfront of South Portland and Casco Bay on July 20, 2019!
Join us for a fun filled 5K, passing through Bug Light Park and ending at the American Legion #35 where runners will be able to relax in our beer garden with two 16 oz. cans of beer provided by Goodfire Brewing!
Strollers, walkers, and dogs are allowed.
Packet Pick Up
You can pick up your bib before the race starting at 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday July 19th, inside the American Legion Post #35 at 413 Broadway, South Portland, ME or the day of the race on Saturday July 20th between 8:00am to 10:00am, inside the American Legion Post #35 at 413 Broadway, South Portland, ME. Please bring your valid I.D. to receive a wristband for ease of entrance to the post race beer garden (only 21+ may receive a wristband and post race beer).
Post Race Party
Following the race runners who are 21+, will be invited to the American Legion Post #35 in South Portland to receive their two 16 oz. cans of Goodfire beer included with their entry fee. A beer garden will be setup outside in the Legion's parking lot. Please have your I.D. with you if you did not receive a wristband during bib pick up.
Parking
Please carpool with your friends and family. There is no parking at the American Legion building on Broadway. You may park on city streets where it’s allowed. We suggest that you give yourself 15 minutes to find parking and then walk to the American Legion building.
