Spring Into Action - Virtual 5k

In the spirit of creating community while we help protect each other the spread of COVID-19 Run Albion is hosting a pop-up virtual 5k. No swag, no official timing but all the power of community. All race registration fees and additional donations will be given to the Albion-Homer United Way to support local efforts to help those in need during this challenging time. Though we will not run or walk this 5k together in person we can take comfort in know that we are together in spirit. 

All race proceeds and additional donations will go directly to the Albion Homer United Way Emergency Relief Fund. All dollars raised by the fund will stay in the Albion and Homer communities with 100% of dollars raised granted to help meet local agency needs during the COVID-19 crisis. There will be no administrative fees charged. AHUW has started the fund with a $7,500 allocation from the annual campaign.

Albion Community Foundation will match all donations to the Albion-Homer United Way Relief Fund dollar-for-dollar up to $12,500
