The Meijer LPGA Classic 5k looks a little different this year! As we continue to adapt to the changes of the last year, we invite you to take part in this year's Meijer LPGA Classic Run/Walk Virtual Challenge for Simply Give!
While we won't be meeting to run together in Rockford this year, you can still be part of the fun of the Meijer LPGA Classic tournament festivities by taking part in this movement challenge June 14-June 20. Sign up as an individual, or get your family and friends together to form a team to walk or run as many miles as you can over 6 days.
With your $15 registration, you'll receive customized event swag including an event t-shirt, a running cap, and a medal. Plus, you'll receive breakfast product from Kellogg's!
Plus, there will be prizes awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each contest category: men, women, team, and family. The top 3 individuals and teams from each respective category will receive Meijer gift cards; first place will win $500, second place will win $250, and third place will win $100. Once the distance challenge concludes on June 20th, winners will be notified, and gift cards will be sent out in the mail the following week.
Want to run as a team or a family? Sign up for a group challenge! Join with at least 2, and no more than 10 total individuals to compete together.

Wanted to track your miles with a Garmin GPS watch, Strava, or Runkeeper? These are all great ways to keep track of your activities, and you can upload them to verify your activity!
If you choose to do so, you'll need to download your activity to your device or computer, then upload the file when you're logging your activity.
How to sign up as a family or team:
First, the fun part- pick a team name, and a captain! Your captain will need to be the first one to sign up and create the team.
The captain will need to be the first person to sign up. Select either Family Challenges or Team Challenges from the menu.
Once selected, click “create a group”. This will prompt you through individual registration. You must select “YES” when asked if you’d like to join or create a team
Captains will select “Create a New Team”. Everyone else will select “Join and existing team” where you can search for you team name once your captain has created it.
Captains: you have the option to password protect your team registration. If you choose to do so, write your password down and share it with your team so they can register!
Once you complete the registration, you’ll be all set to compete as a team! If you’re not joining a team and prefer to compete individually, simply follow the regular registration process and select “NO” when asked if you’d like to join a team.
How to log your activity:
You can complete your activities with any tracking app you choose! We recommend Strava- you can register for a free basic account at strava.com. Activity can only be logged June 14-June 20.
Each time you complete an activity that contributes to the mileage challenge, you can log it through the registration page.
Simply select “results” from the menu, then “Submit Virutal Results” at the top of the page.
Search your registration by your name or your email and birthdate.
Then, select “log activities”
You will enter the date, miles, and your time
Since this is a challenge, you can enter multiple activities that will contribute to your total mileage throughout the week!
You can also upload a file from Garmin tracking, Strava, or another tracking app. Simply download your activity to your computer and upload it into the results, by selecting “upload file” on the results submission page.
