2021 Benton Harbor Sunrise Rotary Pumpkin Run

For 2021, we are celebrating our annual BH Sunrise Rotary Pumpkin Festival with a virtual run.   You can participate in this race anywhere, at any time until Monday, October 31, 2021!  You choose the date, time and course for your race, as well as your distance (5K, 10K or half-marathon) and you can select the race swag you will earn by participating.  We are offering a 100% cotton t-shirt, tech long sleeve shirt, crewneck sweatshirt, hooded sweatshirt, and full-zip hoodie (some items require an additional fee).  For bragging rights you will need to report your finish time for your race to our website no later than November 1, 2021.

• Registration will remain open until October 31, 2021.  However, swag orders will NOT be accepted after Sunday, October 10, 2021.  All registrations made on October 11, 2021 through October 31, 2021 will be a "no shirt" donation for "bragging rights" only.

• Swag orders will be able to be picked up in person downtown St. Joseph, Michigan on the bluff on Saturday, October 30, 2021.  

All proceeds (100%) from this event directly to support education and outreach programs for children and the community of Benton Harbor and surrounding areas.  The Benton Harbor Sunrise Rotary Club provides free books to schools, teachers, classrooms, children and families, as well as a personal dictionary to every 3rd grade student in the community each year.  Additionally, our club members build and provide free desks for children in need for their use at home.  We partner with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Benton Harbor in their endeavor to support their indoor and outdoor STEAM programs.  We annually fund scholarships for children to participate in community learning programs, including programs related to the arts and water sports, and support students to achieve higher education goals.  The Benton Harbor Sunrise Rotary Club also supply grants to both other 501c(3) organization and school applicants for literacy, numeracy, leadership and personal development, as well participation in community outreach programs.   By registering for this event you are helping to make a difference in our community and in the lives of the children who benefit from our programs.  We thank you for your support and hope you enjoy your race!
