2023 BROOKVIEW PIRATE RUN 5K

Across from Brookview School at 501 Zollar Drive

DETAILS: Join Brookview Montessori School for a 5K road race. Due to construction at the school, the start / finish line will be the Upper Pavillion of Benton River Township Park across the street from the school. As with previous years, parking is available at the park.

Participants can run or walk the 5K course along Zollar Drive, Somerlayton Rd and through the Benton Charter Township Park along the river.

Pirate costumes are encouraged, but not required! A pirate themed scavenger hunt will be held in the park for youth 10 and under during the race.

This year the funds raised by the race will go towards necessary and costly structural repairs to the Brookview schoolbuilding. 

WHAT IS THE TERRAIN?

The terrain is mainly paved asphalt, with a short section of dirt / gravel in the final mile in the river area of the park.

The course will not be closed to traffic. It is suggested that youth 14 and under run or walk with an adult.

IS THIS TIMED?

  • Timed using Runsignup race timing.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

  15 and Over:    $25
  Ages 7-14:        $15
  Add a Short Sleeve Sport Tek shirt for $20,or
  Add a Long Sleeve Sport Tek shirt for $25
  Adult sizes Small through 2X-Large, Youth Medium and Youth Large

Shirts will be ordered on October 1, and available for pickup in mid-October
