Description
A 5K Run, 5K Family Fun Walk and Kids 1-Mile Fun Run In Loving Memory of Vicki Oakley - Friend, Teacher, and Coach. Proceeds benefit the Karmanos Cancer Institute and the ASH Athletic Booster Club. All Kids 1 Mile and 5K participants receive finishers medals. 5K Course is chip timed and USATF Certified.
September 11th is Patriot Day, which is a National Day of Service and Remembrance. In recognition of Patriot Day we are honoring local police, fire and first responders, as they save lives through their call to serve. They and their families will be invited to participate in the 2016 Heart of Oak 5K free of charge. Check in and day of registration starts at 8 am at the Academy of the Sacred Heart School and is $35. The Kids 1 Mile will start at 9 am and the 5k at 9:30 am. Tech T-Shirts available to the first 200 registrants only!
