Cancelled for 2019, come back next year! Shamrock Shuffle 5K & 1Mile Family Fun Run/Walk

Break out your lucky shoes, wear some green or even your favorite kilt, and start your day with a little jig-jog to benefit the Charlevoix Cross Country program! Proceeds are used to fund running equipment, camp scholarships, and meet travel expenses for students in need of assistance, and build a college scholarship fund for local high school cross country runners.  Both races will start and finish at Charlevoix Elementary School on Division St. in Charlevoix. MI.  The Shamrock Shuffle 5K winds through the paved residential areas that surround Mt. McSauba while the 1 Mile will take place through the halls of Charlevoix Elementary School and feature pots of gold and fun along the way for the little ones!  Downtown merchant gift certificates and prizes will replace traditional medals/awards for the top three overall and age division winners in the 5K and the top ten finishers in the mile, with all participants receiving coveted green beads upon completion.  To encourage a wee bit of fun, there will also be a costume contest for participants who come in their best Gaelic garb!  Donations are welcome for those who cannot be present, but wish to support the cause and help us go the Green Mile!
