Description
Welcome to the 2026 Copper Harbor Junior MTB Camp!
We’re beyond excited to host the Copper Harbor Junior MTB Camp, a four–day mountain bike adventure built for young riders, intermediate to advanced junior mountain bikers and high school racers, who are ready to level up on some of the most iconic singletrack in the Midwest. While this is our first official year partnering with Jr MTB Camps, we’ve been watching these shredders grow for years. Some of us even remember spotting them on trail when Rock Solid was building the original Flow Trail. Full circle moment.
For four days, campers will ride, learn, laugh, and push their limits across Copper Harbor’s world-class trail system in Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula.
Cost
$750 includes four days of instruction with some of the best coaches in the business, plus lodging and meals at The Mariner North.
Who This Camp Is For
This camp is designed for intermediate to advanced junior mountain bikers and high school racers who are comfortable on technical terrain and ready for big days in the saddle. We’ll be riding some of the most technical and rewarding trails in Copper Harbor, with our longest days reaching up to 6 hours and 40 miles of riding. Endurance, grit, and a love for singletrack highly encouraged.
Where We Ride
Each day highlights a different zone of the Copper Harbor Trails system, known for its rock features, flow, roots, ridgelines, and views of Lake Superior you earn the fun way.
Trail zones we’ll explore include:
- Brockway Mountain – Fast descents, classic tech, and Daisy Dukes laps
- The Point Trail – Remote, rugged, and wildly scenic
- East Bluff – New-school flow meets technical features
- Skills Park sessions for progression and confidence building
And yes, we ride rain or shine. Copper Harbor trails drain like a dream and handle weather better than just about anywhere.
Lodging + Food
Campers stay slopeside at The Mariner North Resort, one of the best ride-in/ride-out locations in Copper Harbor. Trails are right out the door, and the Mariner crew keeps everyone fueled with hearty, rider-approved meals all camp long. Bonus: Lake Superior is steps away, so bring a swimsuit if you’re brave enough for a dip in Gitche Gumee.
Coaching + Learning
Riders will learn from:
- Professional coaches
- Expert trail builders
- Members of one of the most respected trails clubs in the country
We’ll cover skills, trail knowledge, bike handling, and the culture that makes mountain biking more than just a sport.
