The Detroit Red Wings, in partnership with Powerade and Meijer, are proud to host the
Hockeytown 5K, a run/walk along the Detroit River that finishes at center ice inside Joe
Louis Arena! Join us as we begin the celebration of the Farewell Season at The Joe. Using the Waterfront the race ends on the ice of the Joe Louis Arena. Get an amazing commemerative medal, shirt and bib along with meeting players and getting a tour of the locker rooms. Sign up today as this will sell out fast.
Hockeytown 5K
Help us prepare to say goodbye to Joe Louis Arena in true Hockeytown fashion. The Detroit Red Wings and RunningFlat are proud to present the Hockeytown 5K, in partnership with Powerade and Meijer.
Join us for an amazing 5K run/walk like no other. Come dressed in your favorite Red Wings jerseys and apparel and stroll down an incredible waterfront course, along Atwater Street and the Riverfront Trail, which ends under the video board at Joe Louis Arena.
Red Wings players and alumni will be in attendance along the course and inside the arena to cheer you on throughout the entire experience, and all finishers will receive a one-of-a-kind commemorative medal.
Then, stick around for the post-race 5K Festival which includes special photo opportunities with retired jersey and championship banners, Q&A sessions, autograph signings, a Red Wings locker room tour, interactive hockey games, prize giveaways and more.
