Dirty Bird Mud Run

The Dirty Bird Mud Run is a fun, challenging, team-based event held on the campus of Southwestern Michigan College. The 3-4 mile course combines military-style obstacles, hilly terrain, and plenty of mud to create a unique experience for all participants. From super-fit mud run experts to first-time mud runners, this event has something for everyone.

Assemble your friends (or make some new ones), train together, and compete together! Teams can have three to five members. All team members must reach an obstacle before it can be attempted; all team members must complete the obstacle before moving on. No one gets left behind. Start as a team, finish as a team, and celebrate as a team.

It is only fitting that the proceeds from the Dirty Bird, which requires determination, toughness, and teamwork, will benefit those who have served our country. Net proceeds will fund the Military Veterans’ Scholarship at Southwestern Michigan College. Since its inception, the race has generated nearly $20,000 in student veteran scholarships.
