Join us Saturday September 25th and help celebrate the unique heritage of our township! Run the 5K or the 1 Mile Fun Run and afterward participate in the Cornhole Contest. ALL 5K & Fun Run participants will receive a custom medal, finisher shirt, free race photo, and two Heritage tokens (good for 1 beer or root beer at the refreshment tent). Age Group and contest winners will receive a custom Challenge Coin - which can be redeemed at area business for special freebies and giveaways. The Cornhole Tournament will feature three divisions - Competitive, Open, & School Age - and all participants will receive a t-shirt and two Heritage tokens. Winning teams will receive Challenge Coins and the Competitive Division Champions will be awarded $200 in prize money, runner-up team will get $50, third place will have their tournament fee waived. Kids and families can enjoy the carnival-style bouncy houses, pony rides, and food kiosks or wander over to the Cascade Firefighter Association Tent and watch College Game Day then MSU, U of M, or Notre Dame football with our Firefighters. A portion of the proceeds from the 5K, Fun Run, & Cornhole will go to Folds of Honor charity.
