RunGR is keeping the tradition of celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a 5K "running" this year! We have worked out a plan that is designed to provide YOU with a GREAT and safe experience. We are excited to provide the community with an in-person race experience, be sure to read our plan below before you register.
We will be using Kent County's Millennium & Meadows Parks. The 5K course will be using the trail system and will feature a point to point course. To keep everyone spread out, participants will be registering to participate in time blocks of 5 minutes. The time blocks from 8:30am to 10:25 am will have a capacity limit of 50 individuals, with 10:30am to the end being set at 15 participants. We will be using chip timing, allowing participants to compete against the entire field of participants, not just those who are in their wave.
Make sure to click the "VIEW ALL" events button in orange to see all of the available time waves & virtual option.
Here are some additional modifications we have made:
What you can expect:
We are offering a virtual option for those who are not able to participate in person, make sure to select "view all" and scroll all the way down to locate it as a registration option.
No refunds or deferrals will be provided. If something prohibits the event from taking place, all participants will be moved into the virtual race option.
