Celebrate Veterans Day 2019 with the third annual Veterans Day 5 presented by Friends of Michigan Veterans Homes, Inc., starting and finishing at the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans on Saturday, November 9! Offering timed 5 mile and 5K runs, along with a no charge and untimed .5 mile Remembrance Walk, the Veterans Day 5 will benefit the Friends of Michigan Veterans Homes, Inc. and include the SpartanNash Community Pancake Breakfast (8:30 am-11:00 am, complimentary to run participants, $5 to all others) for the community and Veterans Home residents. Commemorate Veterans Day 2019 with family and friends by participating (or cheering on those participating) in the Veterans Day 5 or volunteering to help put the event on, and get to know some of Grand Rapids very own veterans!
PLEASE NOTE: Participant shirts will be ordered to size for all those registered by 11:59p on Thursday, October 31. Those registering after October 31 will not have an option for selecting a shirt size but will choose from existing inventory during check-in Saturday while supplies last. All registered 5 mile and 5K participants will receive a finisher award and a complimentary pancake breakfast.
