5K Race & 1 Mile fun Run/Walk
*All proceeds to to the Steve Sims Leadership Scholarship Fund. A $2000.00 scholarship is given yearly in memory of Teacher/Coach Steve Sims.
Computer Scored Event-Finish on the GIHS track.

Race Location-Grosse Ile High School, 7800 Grays Drive, Grosse Ile, Michigan 48138
The starting point for the Run is in front of the GIHS track and proceeds along the island streets (closed for the run). Much of the course is along the beautiful waterfront of the island, and the race ends at the Finish Line of the GIHS track. The Run is computer scored with water and healthy fruit snacks provided, along with music, fun atmosphere, great people, and a worthy cause. Come and join us for a healthy run or walk in memory of Sims and "Run for the Health of it!
