Description
Looking for a scenic, aided, and timed run or walk around beautiful Lake Lansing? The Lake Lansing Team Loop offers registrants the chance to run or walk the 5.25 mile loop around Lake Lansing, starting and finishing at Lake Lansing Park South. The course will include a combination of paved pathways, sidewalks, open roads, a short trail stretch, and beautiful views of the lake. Participants are encouraged to create and/or join teams to emphasize camaraderie and the return to in-person events!
The "Run Down"
- Participants are encouraged to create or join a team but can also run/walk as an individual.
- All participants will receive an individual time whether participating as a team or as an individual.
- Awards will be given based on TEAMS; create or sign up for a team for a chance to win!
- Race swag includes a t-shirt and Goodr sunglasses!
The design of the race t-shirt will be finalized and shared by July 4th!
We Love Teams!
Hang out at the lake with friends and family! Enjoy the day with people you know and put together a team. It's easy and can be done at registration. Team awards will be given away on event day! Teams can elect to start/finish together, start separately in different corrals, or run in as a relay! There are no limits; teams should have at least 3 participants, but no maximum number has been set!
Important Team Notes:
- Average Age: The average age for a team will be determined by the average age of the entire team!
- Average Time: The "official" team results will be determined by the average time of the top 3 performances on each team!
- Team Relay: Teams of three can elect to run the Team Loop as a traditional relay! The last participant must start by 10am and any team running as a relay should select "Relay Option" in the corral start.
The Basics
Packet Pickup:
- Packet pickup will be hosted at Playmakers on Friday, August 6th, 11am - 7pm.
- Race day packet pickup will take place at Lake Lansing Park South starting at 6:30am on race morning!

- Aid Stations: located at approximately 1 mile, 3 miles, and 4.25 miles.

Award Note: *Overall Male, Female and Co-Ed Teams will win up to 5 pairs of Saucony shoes. Each additional winning team will receive up to 10 pairs of socks to distribute to its team members!
