My Hero Fun Run: Caring for Others

Keep your kids and families active while supporting a local business. Join the Hastings Flip Club for a virtual fun run featuring a "hero" theme. Heroes come in all different forms, and this year we have assuredly seen many heroes in various roles. Participants can dress up, wear a shirt, hat, or accessory, commemorating your hero during your run. These can be super heroes, disney characters, athletes, jedi's, etc. Talk about the definition of a hero with your children and how heroes care for others and make sacrifices to do so. You will receive a shirt and medal for participating. These items will be shipped 3 to 4 weeks after registering. When you receive your merchandise, you can run a 1 mile, 5k, or 10k and share your accomplishments on social media. This can be done in your own time and you can share your times if you'd like, but these do not need to be tracked or sent in.
