Description
The American Heart Association is bringing its HeartChase event –an “Amazing Race™” meets “Minute to Win It™” challenge – to Kollen Park in Holland on Saturday, June 14. The community is invited to join in the fun to raise funds and awareness to fight heart disease and stroke via teams of 2-5 individuals. Players will solve clues and complete challenges at checkpoints within a two-mile radius of downtown Holland.
The course is designed to get the participants’ heart rates up with engaging activities. The challenges are suited for people of most ages and abilities, and do not require advance training or endurance. HeartChase Holland begins and ends at “game central,” which will be at Kollen park. The team with the most points that is back at Game Central at 11 a.m. will win. Players are encouraged to recruit friends or families to join their team or donate prior to the event.
Check in time will be at 8 a.m. and the challenge begins at 9:30 a.m. The event is being sponsored by Holland Hospital and American Medical Response (AMR).
