Description
If you want to get strong and feel prepared for your fall race, this is the class for you! During this five week class we will discuss and work on muscle recruitment through the glutes and hamstrings, by using these larger muscle groups we can help identify ways to create a stronger core as it associates to running efficiency and injury prevention. The work we do will provide a solid base for your performance and recovery this fall.
Week 1 (September 18) - Hip and Glute Recruitment; Bands and Exercise Balls
Week 2 (September 25) - Core and Proprioception Work; mat, body weight work and Exercise Balls with Adam Dingwall
Week 3 (October 2) - Band Class
Week 4 (October 9) - Cadence Increases; Band Work, Body Weight and Kettle Bell
Week 5 (October 16) - Speed Work and Strength Work; Kettle Bells, Body Weight and Partner work
