Midland 5K Zombie Trail Run

Midland Parks and Recreation is teaming up with the Rock Center 4 Youth Development to offer Midland’s annual 5K Zombie Trail Run/Walk! The 5K Zombie Run will take place on Saturday, October 15 at Midland City Forest.  Races begin before night falls at 4:13 p.m. and Racers have two running options: 1. Choose to pretend like the world isn’t ending and run or walk the race among the many zombies; or 2. Do your part at saving the remaining human race by running with your heart and your brains on your sleeve (aka flags), dodging zombie-infected teenagers!   Space is limited, so register early.  The cost for this event is $35.  Register at Parks and Recreation, 4811 N. Saginaw Road, or online at www.cityofmidandmi.gov/zombierun.  Each racer will receive a performance tee and the first 150 finishers will receive a one-of-a-kind zombie medal!
